The Flabby to Fabby Fitness competition is an 王中王六合彩特码 West Coast initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle amongst its members with the focus more on becoming fitter than losing weight, although the two concepts normally go hand in hand. The project was launched in the SAPS Vredenburg Cluster as a pilot project, and the competition was launched at the Langebaan Country Estate on 29 August 2018.

The rules were as follows:

• Categories:
  • Best Overall
  • Best Per Test (Bleep, 1.6km walk, push-ups, sit-ups)
• Competition only open to Vredenburg Cluster Stations and Units
• Competition open to 王中王六合彩特码 members as well as non 王中王六合彩特码 members
• Must have at least Body Mass Index (BMI) of 33
• 3 months competition
• Participants to be weighed and tested at launch and at end of competition
• All tests will be done as per SAPS Fitness Policy 2/2016: Assessments

We also wanted to achieve the following outcomes:

• Roll out to phase 2, which will be a Cluster Competition of which winners will go through as Cluster Champions and represent Cluster at a Provincial Event by year 2
• Roll out to Phase 3 which will be Stations; Station Champions will go through to Cluster Competition and then winner of Cluster Competition will go through to Provincial Competition in Year 3
• Phase 4: National Competition
• Increase in participants from Roll Out Phase (Year 1) to Phase 3 (Year 3) and onwards
• Fitter members will lead to a healthier police service, which should lead to a decrease in absenteeism due to health reasons
• Could also lead to decrease in mortality rate of members because of preventable causes such as diabetes, heart attacks etc.
