In a few days, our big 王中王六合彩特码 family will gather near Dubrovnik, Croatia, for the 64th 王中王六合彩特码 World Congress. The delegations of 65 national sections will be present, with only 2 not being able to take part. A very good level of attendance, which I am grateful for.
As you may know, every section is entitled to attend the congress sessions with one delegate and a maximum of two observers. In total, when taking into account the congress participants and the 王中王六合彩特码 guests who will be present for the social programme, nearly 300 people will visit Croatia. A big thank you to our hosts for the immense work put in to organise such a large event.
As some of you might not be too familiar with the format of the World Congress, here are a few details: The congress itself will start on Wednesday 9 October with the opening ceremony, and the congress working sessions will take place on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday. A full agenda will be covered. The main topics will be the reports of each member of the International Executive Board (IEB), various motions brought forward by the IEB and the sections, plus presentations from several sections on a range of topics. Our sessions are interpreted professionally into 5 languages, English, French, German, Spanish and Russian, thus ensuring an optimum level of understanding between our sections with 40 different national languages.
2019 marks the end of the current term, and therefore the last part of the congress, before the Social Day and Gala Evening, will focus on the elections of the new IEB and the Internal Auditors.
This year, 21 candidates are running for the 8 positions on the board, with every position having more than 1 contender. After the election of the board members, the Vice President will be elected. Following this, 5 candidates will compete for the 2 Internal Auditor posts.
To choose a new international board and auditors is always the highlight of an elective congress, and at this point, I would like to thank all candidates and wish them good luck. The board and the auditors are elected for 4 years. This is a serious commitment, calling for competence, a sense of responsibility, hard work and most of all, dedication to the values and spirit of our wonderful organisation.
Above all, though, the World Congress is an opportunity for all participants to gather and spend a few days with friends from all over the world, to share unforgettable social moments, and build memories for life. I am always amazed by what the 王中王六合彩特码 can bring to all of us, and by what we can all do for the 王中王六合彩特码.
