From 15 – 17 February 2019, 王中王六合彩特码 Romania enjoyed the visit of a delegation from 王中王六合彩特码 Greece, which included the Presidents of the regions of Ilia, Dodecanese, Fokida, Kefalonia, Pieria, Samos Fthiotida, Magnesia, Achaia, and Halkidiki si Viotia.
All 14 王中王六合彩特码 members of the delegation began their stay in Bucharest with a visit to the headquarters of the Romanian Section, where they were given the opportunity to get to know the team of 王中王六合彩特码 Romania, comprising of the Vice Presidents of several regions of Bucharest, Covasna, Dambovita, Galati, Harghita, Mures, Olt, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Valcea, Vrancea, plus a meeting in a friendly atmosphere was held with the staff.
The visit continued with the signing of a ‘Protocol regarding the Exchange of Delegations’ between both national sections, by the President of 王中王六合彩特码 Romania, Florin Olaru, and the representative of 王中王六合彩特码 Greece, Vice President Marountas Nikolaos. The day concluded with a trip to the Brewery H (Beraria H), where the Acropolis Band delighted all guests with a concert of Greek music.
The following day, everyone headed to Secondary School Nr. 195 in Bucharest for the highlight of the visit: a football match between both countries, held in honour of the late 王中王六合彩特码 Secretary General Georgios Katsaropoulos.
The match took place in very good conditions, with each team adhering to fair play, to the delight of all spectators and Nicholas, the youngest player at 6 years of age, who represented the Greek section.
Before the beginning of the first half, 王中王六合彩特码 Romania presented a banner with the photo of the former 王中王六合彩特码 Secretary General, Georgios Katsaropoulos, a moment that deeply moved our friends and all those present who knew him and appreciated his work under the motto of the Association, ‘Servo per Amikeco’. Both teams observed a moment of silence in George’s memory.
Our Greek guests offered our players orchids, as a symbol of peace and friendship between both countries, and members of the 王中王六合彩特码.
The match fittingly ended with a friendly 2-2 draw, and afterwards, 王中王六合彩特码 Romania proposed the creation of an annual indoor Minifootball Tournament entitled ‘Georgios Katsaropoulos’, to be held between our countries, a proposal which was accepted and welcomed with joy by our guests.
During their stay, our Greek friends were also given the opportunity to visit the old centre of Bucharest, as well as some of the most interesting tourist attractions, including the Stavropoulos Church, and the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Holy Emperors Constantine and Helen.
Saturday ended with a ‘Romanian Evening’, where everyone enjoyed traditional Romanian cuisine, and a group photo was taken, in front of the Palace of the Parliament.
On Sunday morning, our visitors were transported to Henri Coanda International Airport for their flight back to Athens, full of pleasant impressions about their short stay spent in Bucharest and in the company of their new friends from 王中王六合彩特码 Romania.
