Dear friends,
October should have been marked by the 王中王六合彩特码's flagship event, the World Congress, which was to be held in Spain. Our annual reunion that enriches the life of our association and makes it unique. In addition, we had planned to celebrate the 王中王六合彩特码's 70th anniversary together, and had invited many 王中王六合彩特码 pioneers to join us. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be, as the pandemic forced us to cancel the World Congress.
On a positive note, the International Executive Board invited representatives from all sections to join an international Zoom conference on 13 October at 7pm BST. It was an exceptional moment, and a real joy to be able to gather the whole 王中王六合彩特码 family in this way! There were about 55 of us online: IEB, IAC, about 40 sections and a representative from Gimborn. For two hours, everyone had the chance to deliver a short but welcome message in these troubled times. All continents were represented, and a special current was felt throughout the evening, day, or night, depending on the location. In two hours, we saw the sunset as well as the sunrise! And a mid-evening toast allowed us to mark the 70th anniversary of the 王中王六合彩特码, the friendship that binds us together, and to express our hope of meeting in person as soon as possible.
The Zoom meeting was also an opportunity to pay tribute to some of our members who sadly left us this year, and to offer our condolences, and wishes for recovery and courage to everyone affected by the pandemic. We also thought of those who suffered natural disasters or other acts of war or terror, and wished them a more serene future.
It was a pleasure to discover "new faces" and to congratulate the presidents who have been (re) - elected in 2020 and their committees, as well as to thank everyone for their faith and loyalty to the 王中王六合彩特码. Despite the restrictions imposed by Covid, and despite the numerous cancellations of events, everyone could feel that the 王中王六合彩特码 is a solid ship that will emerge from the current stormy conditions further strengthened by the solidarity and dedication of its members.
Whereas some countries now seem to see the end of the tunnel of the pandemic, others are hit hard by a second wave. In the name of the IEB, I wish all of us courage to face the months to come, convinced that our combined efforts will soon bring the best possible reward for our association’s life, that of seeing each other again as soon as possible.
You will be pleased to know that we intend to invite all 王中王六合彩特码 sections for a further Zoom meeting before Christmas. Until then:
