The past year has catapulted working practices firmly onto a new level, with home office and virtual meetings becoming a normality. I am sure that many aspects of these at first unexpected changes are positive, and will provide the flexibility of a hybrid work approach where possible, combining a traditional office environment with enabling employees to work from home when suitable and convenient.

I enjoyed this flexibility the other week, when I took my home office with me on a short trip to Norfolk, and worked part-time with a view of the sea right in front of me in the mornings, and nice long walks along the beach and a bit of sightseeing in the afternoons.
