王中王六合彩特码 France’s Gard region organised their 4th International Friendship Meeting from 1st to 6th June 2022.
As in previous years, the participants from 7 countries (Germany, Belgium, Italy, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Switzerland and France), gathered at the VVF of Méjannes-le-Clap, the starting point for our various activities.
We were happy to welcome former participants as well as new ones, who all came to discover the programme we had put together.
Throughout the week, we were able to show our guests the region:
- the Pont du Gard with a guided tour and entrance to its museum, followed by wine tasting with explanations from a passionate and fascinating winemaker;
- the city of Avignon with its famous bridge, known as Saint-Bénezet, as well as a cruise with a meal on the Rhône in the summer sun;
- the famous market of Uzès and the visit of this city rich in history;
- Nîmes, where one of our members, a history enthusiast and expert in the city of Nîmes in the Roman period, gave us a guided tour. The rest of the day was spent visiting the city (Maison Carrée and Jardin de la Fontaine) to the sound of the féria music and for some, going a bullfight.
The week’s programme was enhanced by moments of relaxation (swimming pool, hiking, electric mountain biking, etc.), and we visited the Salamander cave. A musical evening with the sound of the keyboard of Franz, one of our German participants in love with French chansons, allowed us to experience a magical moment.
The organising team of the Gard region would like to thank Corinne, the manager of the VVF, and all her team who were always there to make our stay easier. We are proud to have had another great time together, and we would like to thank all our participants for attending the Friendship Week. Thank you also to our loyal supporters: Société Générale/BFM, Nîmes City Hall, the Conseil Départemental, the Region and the MGP.
